The PIB series UL Listed Access Control Power Supply offers an extensive choice of self-contained
supplies chargers for converting 115V AC / 60Hz input to a
power limited 12V DC or 24V DC output. All models are suitable
for use in installations requiring UL listing for Access
Control and Fire Alarm UL1481 applications. Each power
supply comes in a sturdy metal housing with space for up to
two 12AH batteries.

FEATURES
 

ACCESSORIES (for use in any power supply)
IM-1: Single output fire relay interface module. Drops
power in presence of a fire alarm to open doors.
IM-8: Provides AC & battery supervision, low battery cutoff,
8 switchable SmartFused outputs for power distribution
and door opening in presence of a fire alarm (failsafe or
fail-secure).
Al-80: Interface Board with 8 outputs SmartFused at 1.1
Amps. Distributes power to door strikes, readers etc.
Includes AC and battery supervision via Form C contacts,
low battery cut-off and fire relay interface.
LB-100-12 & LB-100-24: Low battery cut-off module.
Protects batteries during power outages. Automatically
disconnects battery when its voltage reaches 8.9V
(LB- 100-12) or 17.8V (LB- 100-24). When AC power is
restored, battery can be recharged by power supply with no
damage. A switch provides disconnection of AC and
battery power. AC surge protection is also provided.

• Short circuit and thermal overload protection by self--
resetting SmartFuses for reduced service calls.
• Built-in charger for sealed lead acid or gel batteries
• Maximum charge current 0.7 Amp
• Automatic switch to stand-by battery back-up with zero
voltage drop on switch-over
• AC fail supervision (form "C" contacts)
• Battery presence and low battery supervision (form “C”
contacts)
• Filtered and electronically regulated outputs
• 20 mV p/p output ripple
• Cam lock, battery leads and power cord supplied
• "M" models include low battery cut-off and 8 switchable
SmartFused outputs for door opening in the event of a
fire alarm (failsafe or failsecure).
 

MODEL SELECTION
Four models are available at each voltage output level.

PIB-3UL: Regular 3 Amp model, gray housing
PIB-3ULR: In red housing
PIB- 3UL-8: Includes low battery cutoff and 8 switchable
SmartFused outputs for door opening in the event of a fire
alarm (failsafe or failsecure). Gray housing
PIB-3ULR-8: As above, in red housing
 

PIB-4UL: Regular 4 Amp model, gray housing
PIB-4ULR: In red housing
PIB-4UL-8: Includes low battery cutoff and 8 switchable
SmartFused outputs for door opening in the event of a fire
alarm (failsafe or failsecure). Gray housing
PIB-4ULR-8: As above, in red housing

PIB-6UL: Regular 6 Amp model, gray housing
PIB-6ULR: In red housing
PIB-6UL-8: Includes low battery cutoff and 8 switchable
